    Little Bit of Heaven Ranch has been breeding Peruvian horses for many years. We pride ourselves for selecting and breeding some of the finest horses for both riding and breeding. Our aspiration is to produce strong foals with proper conformation and gait that meets breed standards with superior quality.
     Ranch owner Rita Rothenberg was introduced to horses by a neighbor at a very young age, ". . .and I have been hooked every since", laughs Rita.
     Rita loves all horses and has owned Cutting Horses, Hunter Jumpers, Tennessee Walkers and three and five gaited horses.  One day she and a friend read an article about Peruvian Horses and set out to buy one.  She purchased a wonderful mare and soon her entire family wanted one of those "smooth riding" horses.
     "I love everything about these horses," Rita smiles, "their disposition is unbelievable.  They are truly partners."
      "Of all the breeds I have owned, this is my favorite,
so we began breeding them about 30 years ago and love sharing the Peruvian Horse with others," Rita added.
     Rita welcomes visitors to her ranch in Collinsville, TX.  Just call ahead for an appointment as she is often away from the ranch on trail rides or exhibiting her wonderful Peruvian horses.
